TOO MUCH ART
Too much art is
institutionalized in museums,
ivory towers, hallmark cards.
Written to be studied,
painted to be hung.
Squabbles in the ant hill about
meaning and texture.
Making everyone comfortable
like taking a lease out
on a slow wet fart.
