JESUS SAVED ME

JESUS SAVED ME

my knees were young and. i was willing to listen. believe this. believe that. there were gangsters in the dark. i saw a kid hanging from. a tree. i prayed for peace. i fell asleep. jesus saved me.

i read an awful book. a girlfriend in a park. the light from a door step. washed over her summer dress. blood stopped flowing from. the corner of. her hidden smile. she knew that all was well. jesus had save her.

i watched the indictments. the schöner brunnen. and a thousand excuses. little altars with little men. defending smaller women. there were children there. given half a chance. jesus would have saved them.

jesus was a little kid. when the dark and tan. murdered him. they nailed him to a cross. like he was an ornament. on a christmas tree. jesus would have saved him. but he had just been born.

i owned a little sword. a soldier in the army of christ. we would defend his throne. smite the evil men. with all our thoughts. but we were misinformed. they were children. just like us.
