download “THE INVASION OF THE LIJKS MUSEUM IN STUTTGART, ONTARIO BY FORCES UNKNOWN”
In 2003 the world renowned Lijks Museum in Stuttgart Ontario was
broken into. Although no works were stolen much of the work was defiled
or damaged. Video evidence showed young men and/or women dressed up in
ice hockey goal tender gear rampaging through the museum. The shock to
the local residents was immeasurable. A group called BAXTER took credit
for the incident. BAXTER’s ‘ism’ believe that art is intended for the
people and not to employ bureaucrats. The evidence is before you. Since
the break-in, there have been no arrests nor suspects.
